Stamina
Definition
In BOTVBOT, stamina is the energy that moves cost: each fighter starts a round with 100, attacks spend it, Block and Recover restore it, and running out gets your move replaced.

What Stamina means
Many fighting games have a resource besides health, often called stamina, meter or energy, that limits how often a fighter can use strong options. It turns every exchange into a question of spending versus saving.
How it works in BOTVBOT
BOTVBOT’s rules table gives each move’s stamina: Jab −4, Heavy −14, Dodge −6, Feint −2, Block +6, Recover +22. A Feint that breaks a Block also strips 15 stamina, and a staggered fighter loses 10 extra.
If a fighter cannot pay for its move it is exhausted: the move is replaced, the fighter gains 10 stamina and takes 1.25× damage. The rules list running out of gas as one of the three ways fights are actually lost.
Stamina also breaks ties: if a round goes the full 12 exchanges with HP level, higher remaining stamina wins it. So a plan should know its numbers, for example when to stop throwing Heavies and when to Recover.
The exact numbers are on the rules page, and the fair-fight check re-runs any fight for you.
