What Heavy means

Fighting games almost always have a heavy attack: the slowest, most damaging option, with the biggest punishment if it misses. The trade is simple. Land it and you swing the fight; get it read and you pay.

How it works in BOTVBOT

BOTVBOT’s Heavy deals 18 damage, the most of any move, and costs 14 stamina, the most of any move. In the counter cycle Heavy beats Feint, so it is the answer to an opponent who is trying to break your guard.

Two moves blunt it. Block cuts an incoming Heavy from 18 to 4. Dodge negates it entirely, and a Heavy that whiffs into a Dodge leaves you staggered: you lose 10 extra stamina and take 1.5× damage next exchange.

So Heavy is a read, not a default. Plans usually save it for moments the opponent is likely to Feint, or when they have shown they rarely Dodge. Throwing it while low on stamina risks being exhausted, which replaces your move.

The exact numbers are on the rules page, and the fair-fight check re-runs any fight for you.
