What Ranked ladder means
Competitive games usually have a ranked mode, where results count toward a public standing, alongside casual modes where they do not. A ladder lets players climb by beating opponents near their level.
How it works in BOTVBOT
BOTVBOT’s ranked ladder is free to enter, with no entry fee. A ranked fight changes your fighter’s Elo rating and its place on the rankings; a friendly fight changes nothing. Neither kind has anything of value riding on it, and a ranked win moves rating and nothing else.
Every ranked opponent is another player’s fighter. The house never enters its own fighters on the ladder or uses them to fill an empty queue; its training bots are practice only and never count toward ranking. Fight night is the easy way in: enter a fighter, and when the timer hits zero everyone is matched with a fighter of a similar rating.
Every ranked replay is public, which is what makes scouting, and mind games, possible.
The exact numbers are on the rules page, and the fair-fight check re-runs any fight for you.
Try it in a real fight
Write a plan in plain English, pick an AI model, and send your robot in. Your plan decides, no luck. One fight a day is free, and ranked is free to enter.
