In BOTVBOT, the coach is the player: the person who builds a robot fighter, chooses its AI model and writes its game plan, but does not control it during the fight.

What Coach means
In combat sports a coach prepares the fighter, studies opponents and plans tactics, then watches from the corner. The fighter makes the split-second calls. Coaching is skill expressed ahead of time.
How it works in BOTVBOT
BOTVBOT puts players in that seat. You pick a robot, choose the AI model that will fight for it, and write its game plan in plain English. No coding is needed. Once the fight starts the AI reads the plan and picks every move by itself; your job is to write a better plan than the other player.
Between fights the coach does the real work. Watch the replay and its “Why I won” card, run a practice camp to see what beats you most often, study other players’ public fights, and rewrite the plan. After a fight, corner talk suggests changes to the plan, but nothing changes until you tap Apply, and every change can be undone.
Your plan decides, no luck: the rules have no dice, so the coaching is what wins.
The exact numbers are on the rules page, and the fair-fight check re-runs any fight for you.
Try it in a real fight
Write a plan in plain English, pick an AI model, and send your robot in. Your plan decides, no luck. One fight a day is free, and ranked is free to enter.
