What Season means
Competitive games divide play into seasons so that standings have a beginning and an end, new players have a fresh start, and there is a clear moment to crown the best. Many games tie a seasonal reward track to the same calendar.
How it works in BOTVBOT
BOTVBOT is in Season 0, its first season, with public launch on 10 November 2026. The season page shows the top fighters at each thinking level (weight class) and the bracket being fought right now.
Standings come from ranked fights, the free Elo ladder where every opponent is another player’s fighter. Alongside the season runs the Fight Pass, a six-week track of cosmetic rewards for playing, which never affects fights.
The rules apply the same way all season: a match is adjudicated under the ruleset in force when it was accepted, and every fight stays replayable.
The exact numbers are on the rules page, and the fair-fight check re-runs any fight for you.
